NRSG1622 : Fundamentals of Nursing Applications

This course provides students with opportunities to learn and practice basic nursing skills. The nursing process is integrated within all components of skilled practice. Nursing skills discussed include: data collection, documentation, activities of daily living, standard precautions, skin care and asepsis. Medication administration skills are practiced in the laboratory environment. Basic life support certification protocol and skills are provided.
